- L-Glutamine helps fuel the epithelial cells of the small intestine and is a precursor to glutathione, a powerful antioxidant.
- N-acetyl D-glucosamine (vegan) is incorporated into glycoproteins, glucolipids, and glycosaminoglycans, the substrates for tissue repair and it is involved in the protection and repair of mucous membranes throughout the body, including the large and small intestines, stomach and esophagus.
- Marshmallow and Slippery Elm Bark are mucilaginous and demulcent herbs that support the repair and strengthening of the gut mucosa.
