Longevity™ formula combines high levels of coenzyme Q-10, acetyl-l-carnitine (with biotin), resveratrol, alpha-lipoic acid, and serrapeptase to create a basic health component for a sustainable and successful anti-aging regimen because we understand that people want to age gracefully and feel healthy for as long as possible.
- Alpha-lipoic acid can regenerate endogenous antioxidants, such as vitamin E, vitamin C, and glutathione, may help address oxidative stress, maintain healthy glucose metabolism, support the nervous system and provide nutritional support for healthy liver function.
- Resveratrol, standardized to contain 50% trans-resveratrol, may decrease the activity of cytokines and evidence suggests that trans-resveratrol possesses antioxidant activity and also suggests resveratrol may be a potent agent to inhibit COX-1 and COX-2.
- Acetyl-L-carnitine is the most important carnitine ester and plays an important role in lipid metabolism and energy production and is thought to help in the regeneration and repair of neurons and therefore decrease excessive excitability and firing. Biotin has also been included in the formula to further assist in the body’s absorption of acetyl-L-carnitine.
- Coenzyme Q-10 functions as an antioxidant, a membrane stabilizer, and as a cofactor in many metabolic pathways, particularly in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in oxidative respiration.

This is full of powerful antioxidants, including CoQ10, which my doctor wants me to take. This contains enough that I stopped taking the expensive brand that he recommended. My last physical showed great results across the board, so I must be doing something right! I believe in supplements (especially as I age), and this is a quality addition to my regime.
