Isabella had a fun holiday with her cousins Jack & Cassius, and more recently Cassius spent 10 days visiting her while his family vacationed. Ours is a big family of pets here and we often find ourselves telling stories of their shenanigans, what new trouble they’ve been up to, and how they inevitably brighten our days. The MPN family lost two dear pets in 2013, as the year came to a close, and we would like to honor them with these memories from Nanci and Michelle…

“Stella Marie Frost was 18 when she passed away in November. Though this petite calico was a force of nature and raced up trees like a squirrel, she was also a snuggler and loved to be warm, napping in pools of sunlight, sleeping in my lap, and curling beside me at bedtime. Stelly is my longest-time companion. She gracefully succumbed to old age just before Thanksgiving. Her bright green eyes and tiny orange nose will be missed peeking around corners and finding me in the garden.” –Michelle

“I am grateful for the nine wonderful years we had with Reagan Tallulah Miklowski. She loved walks and hikes, spending time with her doggie friends, and playing in any body of water she could find. A day wouldn’t be complete without chewing on a bone and protecting it from the cats (who of course had no interest in the bone). She loved rides in the car and she was one of the best travel companions. She was very smart and an excellent problem solver, especially when it came to finding and obtaining food. Although I’m relieved Reagan is no longer in pain, she is deeply missed and will be forever loved.” –Nanci
